If you currently own a bike (it doesn’t matter if its a mountain bike, road bike,
folding bike including brompton, or a hybrid.) Beck Electric Bikes can convert this bike into an Electric Bike.
This means you keep your existing bike, and you are in control in regards to the requirements.

We can then inform you of date of collection, timescale and then date of delivery of your converted electric bike.
We offer a collection and delivery service by our own transport.

and brake switches(Where they can be fitted)
The price of a converted bike is less expensive than a factory built equivalent The quality of a converted bike will
be better than a factory built equivalent. All of our work and products are guaranteed for 12 months.
Our Standard motor is the Bafang BBS (Bottom bracket system) crank drive and standard battery
is the Yose Power HaiLong 36Volt 10AH built with Samsung Cells. Its mounting position is either on the
down tube, or a carrier rack. Of course; where the battery is mounted does depend on each individual bike.
Customers regularly report up to a 30 mile range.
Mid conversion crank drive Bafang BBS motor
A hub motor can only deliver limited torque, fine for flat roads and easy gradient but on steep hills,
the motor will slow down, its efficiency and output power will drop rapidly. A crank drive motor transmits
power to the chain which can be adapted to the terrain using gears. A CD motor can then be kept running at
optimal speed all the time, saving battery and provides maximum power. So if you want to ride hills, a chain drive bike is a must.

Bikes presented for conversion, should be fit for purpose and in particular clean. If not clean, a fee will apply for cleaning.
