I had my hybrid bike converted by Robin two years ago. I wasn't aware that my bike could be converted but after a chance meeting with one of Robin's previous customers I contacted him.
I had great service from Robin throughout from fully explaining the process to delivery of my converted bike.
I love it! I now cycle longer distances and have explored many new paths, hills are just so easy.
It has been totally reliable and enjoyable and yet
depending on the amount of power I use, I am still making an effort and getting plenty of exercise.

The most sensible decision I made in a long time was to get a conversation to pedal assistance. Up until then I had been forced into giving up forest tracks and the more arduous roads but am now back into action covering an average of around 50 miles a week and a total of over 2000 miles since getting the battery fitted. Minor hiccups in the early days were quickly rectified by Robin and I would commend his conversion and not only to those like me who we're beginning to struggle with hills and head winds but to all wishing to extend their days on the bike

I was going to buy anew e-bike but found it too heavy to handle as well as being very expensive. Then I heard about Robin Beck. He came to look at my own, quite old but well used and comfortable to ride. He said that he could fit a battery between two down tubes. He took it away and returned it two weeks later then showed me how to use it to start on a hill.
With advancing years, I have it to be very useful for being able to enjoy the beautiful countryside where I live although I do not have a car. I have travelled about 3,000 miles with it.
A very well spent £800 compared with an e-bike costing £2,500.

Had my conversion done by Robin in early 2020 after rupturing my achillies at the end of 2019. The service was fantastic. Have put over 10000 km on the bike and it has been and still is fantastic.
